Sabre 38 Cabin Sole Replace
As you can see, the cabin sole in looking very bad from water damage. Some of the water came
down the mast and some of the water was trapped in the bilge causing rot from above and below.
It took six days to remove the old cabin sole, clean everything up and prepare for the installation
of the new teak and holly cabin sole. All the new material was sealed with epoxy.
Each new layer was vacuum laminated to the one below. The hatches were cut in last using a
template we had made at the start. The whole process took three weeks to complete.
